The Wyoming Hunter and Angler's Gubernatorial Candidate Forum
An event meant to highlight the important issues in conservation and to elevate the voice of hunters and anglers across the state.
Wyoming's gubernatorial candidates have been quiet in regards to the issues that sportsmen and women are concerned with. So, we wanted to make sure the hunters, anglers, and conservationists of Wyoming had the opportunity to hear from the gubernatorial candidates on these issues, utlimately creating a more informed and engaged voting public.
The purpose of this forum is to educate the conservation, hunting, and angling community on issues that are relevant to our outdoor traditions conservation heritage. During the forum, candidates will answer questions on topic areas, including: Wildlife Management, Public Lands and Access, Wyoming’s Outdoor Recreation Economy and Hunter/Angler Recruitment. There will be time at the end of this forum for the candidates to take questions from the audience.
This is an opportunity for our community to emphasize the importance of conservation and hunting and angling issues to a candidates campaign plan and ultimately to their platform as the new Governor of Wyoming.
